Forrest & Krista
June 13 - 15, 2025
“Sometimes, he thought to himself in a house in a cerulean sea, you were able to choose the life you wanted.
And if you were the lucky sort, sometimes that life chose you back.”
— The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
Accommodations
The Ramble Hotel
Taking inspiration from French Salons of the 17th century, The Ramble Hotel was designed with the intent to foster meaningful conversation, engagement, and interaction. As such, we've selected The Ramble Hotel to be the backdrop of our wedding weekend — in hopes of serving as a catalyst to creating community amongst our family and friends.
Settled in the heart of the River North Art District (RiNo), a hub of creativity, cuisine, music, and art, The Ramble Hotel is where we will host our guests for the duration of their stay and celebrate Saturday evening.

The Bride
meet krista
Krista is a true product of the east coast: born in Connecticut, grew up in Richmond, Virginia, and spent her adult life bouncing around big cities like Baltimore and Atlanta. When COVID hit, she pursued her dream of getting off the Eastern seaboard by moving west, settling in Denver, Colorado on the 4th of July, 2020. A true creative powerhouse, she received her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the country’s No. 1 art school, Savannah College of Art and Design. Today, Krista works as a Senior Art Director at Autodesk (they do not sell cars or make desks — confusing, we know) and spends her free time trying to figure out every Easter Egg Taylor Swift has ever left and scheming about how many Broadway shows she can convince Forrest to attend in any given calendar year.
The Groom
meet forrest
Forrest was born in Texas and spent his formative years in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, including attending college at the University of North Texas in Denton. After completing his degree, Forrest took the risk of following one of his best friends as she decided to leave Texas for the Centennial State. He, again, followed the lead of his dear friend and took her up on interviewing with Southwest. Nearly a decade later, you can catch Forrest flying across the country with his head buried in a book or trying to get home as quickly as possible to both his girls (or “gayles,” as we say). When he’s not in the air, Forrest can be found primping and admiring his lawn, yelling at his beloved (be-hated?) Colorado Rapids, or rummaging through a used book store for 1960s rare pulp fiction.
